Did you sleep at night? No? Have you seen "HIM"? What did you dream about in the kingdom of Morpheus? (With)
Many of us wonder why we need dreams, what do they bring to us?. Someone says this is a fantasy of our brain, they say dreams are brought to us by spirits. Or maybe Morpheus can share dreams, sprinkling us with his sand from his bag.
I can’t say anything about the author of this comic. I am not familiar with his books, but I just know that he is one of the recognized “Gothic” writers, and that sometimes he is put on an equal footing with Alan Edgar Poe. But after reading part 1 of his comic book about the Sandman (and then Morpheus).
Tuck you in, warm within Keep you free from sin Till the sandman he comes
Graphic part of the comic:
https://pedalada10casino.co.uk/ />I don’t know what to say, but if the person who reached these lines is used to seeing beautiful drawings, then immediately close the page. I’ll say right away that I came across scans with a little dull paint, which gave the pages a little “old school” tint. The drawing itself is replete with black and gray tones, without boasting of tans of blood and dirt. What shows the fear, fornication and dirt of our world through the eyes of Morpheus.
Plot: What if you tried to summon death, but accidentally summoned sleep? That is, if you tried to take away his power, and waited a year to break him?
A lot can be said about the plot part. Very beautiful and captivating story. Madness, fear, death and despair, all intertwined in 1 thread. And the crossover with characters from other universes and comics was a great success… Well, just a joy for lovers of great plots and dialogues… And the battle between Morpheus and the Demon is worth comparing creation and anti-life, and only hope is strongest. About the consequences of controlling other people’s dreams and creating madness that can absorb and bring out all the dirtiest and most nightmarish things that live inside a person. About the fact that even Caesar will fall to the “Slavery of his power”.
The atmospheric part, or even let’s say the main one: Gothic… Punk… No, no, more precisely, a gothic-punk comic, the same atmosphere of despair as in Watchmen. Every part of your brain feels like madness is creeping inside of you. It tears apart your consciousness and the world becomes worse and darker. Every part of the body feels the dust and dirt of the world. As pus flows down your hand, blood drips from the finger of a madman’s recently murdered victim. This is just part of what the comic conveys..
Exit light Enter night Take my hand Off to never never land
What can I say at the end?? Only that… That the comic is worthy of being read and the reader is immersed in the world of Sandman..
Sandman, sandmanstanding by my sideSprinkle stardust into my eyesAnd let me sleep till I die
